Congratulations on your new arrival. Those first few days after your birth are a whirlwind full of emotions. Let me capture those first precious moments of your babys life; from their tiny toes to their very first smile, it really is an investment you will treasure forever. You will never get this time back and before you know if, your little bundle will have grown into a toddler before your eyes. If you are looking for a photographer to capture your newborn, I can ensure you that every session is individual and tailored to you and your tastes. I am excited to welcome you into my studio. My newborn photoshoots are very relaxed and you will have full access to use all of my props and beautiful little outfits I have collected throughout the years. ABOUT YOUR SESSION

Your newborn session is perfect for babies who are under 21 days old, due to their ability to be safely posed in order to create those gorgeous photos you desire. After all babies do not stay babies for long, and I know myself being a mum how important it is to remember those little features that freeze in time those early years. My photoshoots are unique, and tailored to you, and I am extensively trained in handling your newborns safely. Complete with full insurance and first aid training, you are in safe hands when you book with me.

I have trained with some of the best newborn trainers in the world, perfecting my technique so that you will receive high quality pictures from your newborn session with me, which means you are receiving the highest quality captures for your investment.

Obviously we can discuss any questions or queries you have prior to securing your date. All of my newborn photography sessions are approximately 3 hours long, dependent on how well your baby settles in the studio. This includes wrapped, sibling and parents shots, use of props and a personalised viewing of your gallery after your session.

Obviously, you will have questions, and I will try my best to answer some of the most comment questions below. When should I book my newborn photoshoot?

As you can image, my diary is quite a complicated place! Most people book just after their 20 week scan to ensure they secure a session. I will send you a confirmation email along with a contract and an invoice. Once you have given birth, please contact me as soon as you can and then we can get a date and time booked in my diary for your newborn photoshoot.

How old should my newborn baby be?

I like to do newborn photoshoots when your baby is under three weeks old. This ensures they are still in the sleepy, curled up phased and we can achieve the posed images you desire. If your baby is older than three weeks, please have a look at my baby photography page. .

What should i bring?

Most parents really worry about this. All I ask is that you bring plenty of nappies and if your baby is formula fed, bring lots of milk with you. If you use a dummy, that would be helpful during your session too. If you are wanting parent portraits try to coordinate your outfits, no patterns or logos on t-shirts as these can go out of date very quickly.

How long will my newborn photography session take?

I ask parents to allow for the session to take around four hours. Your newborn photography session is completley baby led and I will stop the shoot for feeds, nappy changes and of course cuddles. Often the shoot is complated in around 2-3 hours but it all depends on how settled your newborn is.

What if my baby wee's or poo's!?

Please, don’t worry! During most newborn shoots there will be mess over my backdrops and probably over me or you too. I am a mum of two and have worked in this field for 5 years so nothing phases me. I would suggest that you bring a spare pair of clothes incase your baby decides to have an ‘accident’ on you x
